How do we feel about this project?
/ a talk to Enikő Szakál and Luca Braun from Garay János Gimnázium10.C about their impressions/
It’s so difficult to answer as it is quite complicated. It is a fascinating opportunity to make new friends, practise English, and take the advantages of being a member of the EU. It’s a great chance to get acquainted with Bulgarian culture and local people’s everyday life. It is such a good occasion to give presentations or tell stories aboutHungary, our beautiful and unique culture, our breathtaking landscapes to the Bulgarian students. We are sure that our and the Bulgarian students’ way of life, way of thinking and range of interest have a lot in common, but still different and unique. We are really interested in the Bulgarian students’ habits, free time activities and what sports they do. We are having a good time while we are practicing at our language course and we can gain experience. In our life it is really important to speak languages and it’s essential to speak English fluently. It is not a problem if we make grammar mistakes, the point is to become brave enough to speak to strangers in a foreign language. We are really grateful to the program because Burgas must be enjoyable and interesting and we can travel to Bulgaria and learn a lot.
As we experienced the Bulgarian students are friendly and emotional. We are already in touch with some of them with the help of the Internet.
