The first edition of the “Awakening” competition was held in April\/May. The competition aimed to honor the renewal of life at Easter and the rebirth of nature. The idea was to praise the awakening of our spirit, conscience and emotions as well as to provoke the desire for wisdom, beauty and miracle-monging by doing good deeds! The competition also marked the 50th anniversary of AEG “Geo Milev” in Burgas.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Two short stories were recognized as examples with a truly compelling message: be alert and perceive what is hidden from the eyes but gets seen only through the heart!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The two authors were awarded by the leaders of the electronic media club – Mrs. Valcheva and Mrs. Atanasova – in the Creative Room of AEG “Geo Milev”. They received diplomas, with warm wishes for future success as novice writers of short stories in English!

Nikolay Petkov (XI D)<\/strong>, famous for many awards, proved his undeniable talent again. This time, demonstrating excellent skills in writing short stories! His work is called \u201c\u0422he Controversial Teacups\u201d<\/span><\/a><\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Another really talented student, Siyana Zhelezarova (VIII B)<\/strong> – a former winner of our school poetry competition in English – has woven pure magic into a masterful web of words, just to win the hearts of all readers! Her work is called \u201cBlooming Spring\u201d<\/span><\/a><\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
