On 2nd December, Friday, the students of AEG “Geo Milev” had the unique opportunity to meet with Jivko Ivanov<\/strong>. The renowned artist is a part of the most talented generation of Bulgarian artists. The Arts club and the Literature club had an eye-to-eye conversation with the painter. Mr. Ivanov yet again demonstrated his impeccable art skills and gave the future artists some truly useful advice. The meeting took place at the Creative room.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Jivko Ivanov<\/strong> is truly one of the most intriguing people of modern Burgas. His paintings are known for their captivating colours, originality and the usage of natural materials. The painter has had several exhibitions abroad, mostly in Germany. An interesting fact is that he was also a close friend of our great poet, Hristo Fotev. They have inspired each other throughout the years. The artist says that when he paints, it’s the pictures themselves that are in command. That is his secret key to success.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Some of the students asked Jivko for practical advice on art techniques and also posed a few questions related to art and literature. Afterwards, the painter and the young artists painted together some amazing works of art.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

All participants concluded the event with an exchange of gifts. Jivko Ivanov donated his art piece to the school. In return, the students gave him a present of their own: a painting by Alexa Georgieva from \u0425II “a”<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It was a truly memorable meeting! We hope there will be more.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
