The Bulgarian Youth Red Cross (BURC) entered into an alliance with the English Language High School “Geo Milev” in order to provide the students with basic knowledge of first aid procedures.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The training takes place the supervision of Mrs. Kazakova from the education department and Ms. Petrova, the school paramedic, on different dates so that students who have confirmed their desire to participate in the program can be trained more easily. As the dates are: <\/p>\n\n\n\n

21.02.2023, when training for the 8th and 9th grades will be held; <\/p>\n\n\n\n

01.03.2023, training for the 10th and 11th grades; <\/p>\n\n\n\n

BURC also directs its efforts to younger students from primary schools. Preparation will include the following components: Adequate emergency response; <\/p>\n\n\n\n

How to make a call to the emergency number 112; <\/p>\n\n\n\n

How to provide first aid according to an injury until the arrival of a medical team;<\/p>\n\n\n\n

How to perform CPR and Heimlich technique.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
