In the morning of 16.10.2019, together with our teachers, we visited the Vaya Eco Park. There we were warmly welcomed with pita bread and locally produced honey. The hosts were very motivated to make this place even more enjoyable. They took us for a walk around the park, showing us most of its free-range ducks, sheep, two sun-basking pigs, some pretty, friendly horses, a little grazing in peace donkey and a number of other members of their large family. We had the chance to feed them and meet them up close. We learned that a large part of them had been rescued by Green Balkans and subsequently accommodated to live in the park. For us this visit was extremely interesting, useful and enjoyable. We can’t wait to get back there!
