On September 15, 2026, Geo Milev English Language High School welcomed students back for a new school year filled with tradition, inspiration, and change.
The school opened its doors to a renovated environment, including a refurbished schoolyard and modernized classrooms for the 11th grade. These improvements provide students with a more comfortable and welcoming place to learn.
The opening ceremony was attended by several official guests, including representatives of Burgas Municipality, the school’s Public Council, and the Alumni association.
School principal Ms. Zhaklin Neycheva welcomed students, teachers, and parents, wishing them confidence and success
Ms. Kate Stubble, the school’s Fulbright teaching assistant, also shared her best wishes for the new year.
One of the most memorable moments was the traditional oath of the 8th-grade students. By promising to uphold the school’s good name and traditions, they officially became part of the Geo Milev community.
The ceremony continued with musical performances by Aleksandra Belcheva (11B) and Yavor Grudov (10E), while Daniel Dimitrov and Elis Fikret (10E) hosted the event.
The first day perfectly combined tradition and change, marking an exciting new chapter for the entire school community.
