On 27th September, we held a memorable event at the Creative Room: the European Day of Languages. Therefore, the students brought some magnifiscent works written in Portuguese, Spanish, German, French, and Italian. From delicious desserts to inspirational slogans, the celebration really had it all!
This holiday is traditionally honored by millions of people on the continent. Celebrated for over 20 years, it represents the linguistic and cultural diversity of Europe. Moreover, it encourages us all to learn other languages.
EU’s greatest strength is the unity of its 27 nations. Hence, when we explore different cultures, we not only broaden our horizons, but make the cross-European bonds stronger.

The Poem
Having presented their creative work, the students wrote an acrostic poem. The first letters of its lines should read ‘STEM’. Naturally, the young artists handled the challenge with ease.As a result, the poster had some ‘no-baking’ recipes for desserts: fast, delightful, and safe! The slogans, on the other hand, were truly motivating, thought-provoking and touching.

The Organisation
Thanks to Iva Dikova, Stella Mihova, Lidia Cvetkova, Alexandra Katarova and Cvetelina Stoyanova, the event went just as planned. The girls had a significant part in the organisational work. The deputy principals were there as well. They enjoyed it a lot. Some teachers joined in and praised the artists’ skills and creativity.

The talanted writers’ happy faces made our day! It was a marvellous event that brought out the best in all who took part. A PowerPoint presentation with some lievley tunes unlocked the desire for dancing. The subdued murmur sounded just like busy bees. The outcome? As sweet as honey!
Well, more holidays are going to be celebrated, so you’d better stay tuned.
