An interesting event will soon be happening at the English Language School “Geo Milev”. It is called “The Day of Languages”. But when is it?
“The Day of Languages” will be held on December 7th or the day after, if necessary. If the date remains unchanged it should start during the last class.
Please note:
- Classes will be reordered. The 5th class, which is the class teacher’s hour will be the last one for the day, while the 6th class becomes 5th in order and the 7th becomes 6th.
- The event features a presentation held by several students. They will present several countries the languages of which are studied at school and a few additional languages:
- The initiator of the project, Miroslav Kamenopolski form XI “v”, will be presenting our splendid home country, Bulgaria.
- The presenter of faraway China is Simeon Minkov from X “а”.
- Russia‘s richness is going to be shown to us by Danil Luktin from
- And last, but not the least, Turkey‘s culture and language are going to be featured by Berna Halil from X “g”.
- Finally, Denitsa Apostolova from X “а” will try to tell us about exotic Spain.
We were lucky to be invited to a rehearsal of the group. We dare say that if things go well, this could be the opening for more student-initiated projects.
So, we challenge you to go and see the presentation. You will learn a thing or two about a few bigger countries and, if you haven’t learned that yet, you will finally find out which languages the school features in its curriculum.
